Deeya's Stuffed Peppers

What you will need:

  • 1 Carrot
  • 4 Red Peppers
  • 4 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 75 grams of Feta Cheese 
  • 50 grams of Cheddar Cheese
  • 200 grams of Tomato Passata
  • 250 grams of Wholegrain Rice
  • 1 Dessert Spoon of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon of Dried Oregano 
  • Black Pepper
  • Small handful of Parsley

 

Before you start cooking, remember to wash your hands! 

 

1. Brush the dish with vegetable oil.

2. Now grate the carrot into a mixing bowl with the whole grained rice.

3. Next crumble in the feta cheese and then using scissors chop in the cherry tomatoes.

4. Measure 1 teaspoon of dried oregano and add the tomato passata, then sprinkle in the chopped parsley.

5. Now add a couple of grinds of black pepper and give everything a stir. 

6. Next grate the cheese and set to one side.

7. Now place the red peppers on a chopping board, tear them in halve and remove the stalks and seeds.

8. Place the peppers into the dish, add in the filling and sprinkle with cheese.

9. Ask an adult to place them into the oven.

10. Finish with a sprinkling of parsley and serve!
