What you will need:
- 2 Dessert spoons of capers
- 2 x 170 grams of tin salmon
- 400 grams potatoes peeled & boiled
- 200 grams of plain flour
- 150 grams of breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
- Half a lemon
- Black Pepper
- Small handful of dill
Before you start cooking, remember to wash your hands!
1. Mashup the potatoes and add in your salmon, then squeeze in the lemon.
2. Now chop in the dill and capers with scissors and add a couple of grinds of black pepper.
3. Now crack an egg into a mug and whisk with a fork. Then pour into the mixing bowl and stir.
4. Now form the mixture into 6 fishcakes and add them to a baking tray.
5. Now add two more eggs to a mug and whisk with a fork before pouring into a shallow bowl.
6. Now line up 3 bowls on your chopping board. 1 with flour, 1 with the eggs and 1 with breadcrumbs.
7. Place each fishcake into the flour and roll them around, then dip them into the eggs, and finish each one by dipping and rolling in the breadcrumbs.
8. Now place the fishcakes onto the oven tray.
9. Ask a grownup to place into a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.
10. Now serve your fishcakes with a fresh and crispy salad.
